- Legal form: sole proprietorship. The person conducting the business is Tomasz Rostkowski.
- Bank account number: 85 1050 1298 1000 0092 9052 9792.
- The detailed course conditions are set out in the driving course agreement accepted at purchase. These terms apply to matters the agreement does not cover.
II. Course participation rules
- A person may become a trainee if they have reached the age required by law and hold a valid medical certificate confirming no contraindications to driving. The course can start up to 3 months before the required age is reached.
- Enrolment takes place at the school's office, electronically or through the OSK Olaf online store.
- A trainee must provide true data, read the terms and privacy policy, and pay the fee according to the current price list and the concluded agreement.
- The medical examination is not included in the course price and is paid by the trainee.
- After the medical examination, the trainee obtains a PKK number (driver candidate profile) at the local authority, with a current driving licence photo. Persons under 18 do this with a parent or legal guardian. The PKK number must be obtained before the first theory class.
- To start the practical part, the trainee must complete at least 30 hours of theory training or pass the theory exam at WORD.
- Adult trainees contact the Center about their course themselves, not through third parties.
III. Payments and course price
- The course price, the deposit and the payment method are set out in the order. The price reflects any promotions and discounts applied in the order and includes training materials.
- The course price can be paid in full before training starts or in interest-free instalments without a bank: the deposit at enrolment, further instalments according to the schedule agreed with the Center, and the full course price no later than the 20th driving hour.
- Payments can be made to the account given in section I, in cash at the office or in the way stated in the order. The transfer title should include the trainee's first and last name and the type of course. The status of payments and amounts due follows from the trainee's settlement kept by the Center.
- A request for an invoice must be made before the first payment.
- The course price does not change during the course unless the course lasts longer than 6 months from the conclusion of the agreement. In that case the final price may be updated according to the branch's current price list. If a trainee interrupts training for at least one month, the Center may update the course price if the price list has changed.
- Outstanding payments result in the exam card being withheld and the trainee not being admitted to the exam. Paying the full course price is a condition for receiving the course completion certificate, unless an annex to the agreement provides otherwise.
- Unused training drives are not refundable after 3 months from the end of the course.
- The provisions of this section and section IV do not limit the consumer's rights under mandatory law, including the right of withdrawal described in section VIII.
IV. Additional fees
The fees below apply in the version of these terms made available when the agreement is concluded. Prices of additional driving hours are set by the branch's current price list.
- A drive not cancelled at least 24 hours in advance or missed through the trainee's fault: PLN 80 for each planned hour.
- Internal theory exam retake: PLN 25.
- Internal practical exam retake: the price of one additional driving hour.
- Duplicate of a lost training card: PLN 200.
- Training materials on resignation during the course or on withdrawal from the agreement: PLN 100.
- Administrative fee on resignation, termination of the agreement or change of driving school (training card, PKK profile, handling): PLN 300.
- Settlement of training completed when the agreement is terminated through no fault of the Center or the trainee changes driving schools: PLN 35 for each theory hour completed and the price of one additional driving hour for each driving hour completed.
- First-aid course when the trainee passed the theory exam at WORD in e-learning mode, settled on termination of the agreement or change of driving school: PLN 350 at the Chorzów branch or PLN 300 at the Ruda Śląska branch.
V. Organisation of classes
- Theory classes are held live online or as self-study ending with the theory exam at WORD, according to the ordered course. Lecture dates and times are published on the Center's website.
- Practical classes follow a schedule set by the Center. Driving usually starts 2 to 3 weeks after the theory part ends, and driving in the basic course usually takes about 3 months from the first lesson.
- Afternoon driving slots are limited because of high demand. Training may take longer if the trainee wants to drive only after 15:00 or only with one instructor, and during winter and summer holidays.
- The trainee completes at least 50% of driving lessons with the lead instructor. The instructor can be changed up to the 10th driving hour. A later change requires buying the extra driving hours needed to meet this condition.
- The practical part of the Express course is completed within 30 calendar days if the trainee is available and the driving dates are set by the instructor or the Center's manager. Otherwise the Express course becomes a basic course without compensation.
- A trainee must arrive on time with a valid identity document. The trainee and the instructor wait 15 minutes if either of them is late.
- If a trainee does not start training within one month of concluding the agreement, or interrupts it for more than 30 days without notifying the Center's manager in writing, the agreement is treated as terminated by the trainee and settled according to sections III and IV.
- An instructor may refuse to conduct a drive if the trainee is under the influence of alcohol, drugs or medication affecting the ability to drive.
VI. Liability
- The school is not liable for items left in training vehicles or at the office.
- A trainee is financially liable for damage caused through their fault during practical classes if it is not covered by the vehicle insurance policy.
- A trainee who intentionally endangers the health or life of other road users or the Center's property is immediately removed from the list of trainees.
- The school may change driving dates in justified cases, in particular due to vehicle breakdown or weather conditions.
VII. Complaints and comments
- Comments and complaints about the course may be submitted at the school's office, through the Manager5 system or electronically to biuro@olafchorzow.pl.
- Consumer complaints are handled within the period required by law, generally no later than 14 days after receipt.
VIII. Right of withdrawal and refund rules
- A consumer has the right to withdraw from an agreement for participation in a driving course within 14 days of its conclusion, without giving a reason, subject to the exceptions provided by applicable law.
- The statement may be sent to biuro@olafchorzow.pl or to 52 ks. Józefa Czempiela Street, 41-506 Chorzów, Poland. It is sufficient to send the statement before the deadline expires.
- If the course started before the 14-day period expired at the trainee's explicit request, the settlement includes the value of classes performed, the cost of training materials provided and the agreed administrative costs set out in section IV, to the extent permitted by law.
- If a trainee withdraws before the course starts, the refund covers the full fee, except for the cost of training materials provided set out in section IV.
- The refund is made using the same payment method, unless the trainee expressly agrees to another cost-free method.
IX. Rules for cancelling practical drives
- A trainee must inform the Center about absence from practical training no later than 24 hours before the planned time.
- A later cancellation or failure to attend results in the fee set out in section IV.
- An instructor may cancel a class after notifying the trainee in advance. In that case, no fee is charged for the cancelled class.
- In exceptional circumstances, a trainee may request cancellation of the fee. The Center decides after considering the circumstances.
